Nurturing Dreams through Cricket: Gate Charity's Inspiring Event In India
Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, proudly organized a charity cricket match on 15 October 2023, in India. The event brought together 20 children under 18, uniting them through India’s favorite sport, cricket.
The event’s origin lies in Gate Charity’s mission to provide opportunities for disadvantaged youth to engage in sports while nurturing their dreams. Collaborating with Viren S Negi, a local cricket enthusiast turned coach, the organization aimed to create a positive impact.
The charity cricket match featured twenty enthusiastic children from underprivileged backgrounds and three match officials, ensuring a fair and enjoyable game.
What made this event unique was the post-match campaign. After the game, each child left their handprint on an A4 paper, sharing their dreams beneath it. These heartfelt artworks will be transformed into NFTs, and made available for purchase. The funds raised directly will support Gate Charity’s mission, providing education and health opportunities to underprivileged children.
This initiative turned children’s dreams into tangible NFTs, fostering a connection between supporters and young talents. Purchasing an NFT can endorse their dreams and make a lasting impact.
