Q1: How do you get into crypto and blockchain?

Umberto: I bought my first BTC back in 2011 at the price of around 3$, unfortunately I’ve spent them all back in the days, but since then I’ve always been following the space, but never fully jumped on board since the Kryptomon idea pops out.

Q2: Anyways, how did the Kryptomon idea come out?

Umberto: Well I was born in 1992, and like everyone else that was born during those years my childhood was crafted by two games: Pokémon and Tamagotchi, actually I still playing Pokémon right now even if I’m 30 with a kid - having said that the idea came in April when looking at Cryptokitties I realised that to me those were just nice, but expensive .png file, and I wanted something more - so I’ve asked myself what if we do add Pokémon and Tamgotchi game mechanics to Cryptokitties?

Q3: So, nowadays Gamefi and P2E are a trending topic, why do you feel Kryptomon is different?

Umberto: What truly makes Kryptomon stand out from other projects, is the tamagotchi-like mechanics we have integrated into each and every Kryptomon in our Kryptoverse, which makes every Kryptomon a “living NFT”, hence a real digitally living creature that becomes a part of the trainer’s life. Kryptomon is much more than a monster-battle game, it’s a complete Kryptoverse where trainers get to live and interact with their Kryptomons, their living NFTs. In our vision, that’s what differentiates us from the rest, as we do not aim to limit our trainers to a certain game environment, we strive to make the environment their game arena and to integrate it with the trainer’s life as much as possible, making Kryptomon a real world immersive experience.

Q4: What do you feel is Kryptomon’s objective?

Umberto: Our real focus is building a great game that people would love to play, and when I do refer to people I mean the 2 Billion gamers population out there, not only the 46MLN cryptogamers. And to attract the 2BLN people you need to give them a game they would love to play and enjoy. This is our objective, make Kryptomon attractive and playful for the gamers like me out there.

Q5: Now that we have briefly touched on the game, can you tell us about the KMON Coin?

Umberto: Well it’s easy, the KMON Coin is the currency of the Kryptomon World, so every in game transactions will be in KMON Coin, from breeding fees, lootbox purchases, and P2E payout everything will be in KMON Coin, and thanks to our partnership with Simplex, we did make even easier to buy the KMON Coin players will be capable to buy the KMON Coin directly in our website with their credit card, this will make the KMON Coin more accessible.
