Q1: Can you briefly describe what Aradena: Battlegrounds is & how it works?

Liam: Battlegrounds is a compelling tactical TCG that brings collectable cards to life in strategic 3D gameplay. Set in the medi fantasy Kingdom of Aradena, it offers a unique and immersive battle that blends the deck-building mechanics of CCGs like Hearthstone with the strategic gameplay found in titles such as Civilisation, Warhammer, and XCOM.

One standout feature of Aradena is the Golem, which serves as both a player’s health and the overarching win condition. Each player starts with a Golem on the board, acting as their health pool. The game is won by reducing the opponent’s Golem to zero health, while protecting one’s own. Q3: Community is crucial for a project’s success. Given the significant increase in activity in your community since the launch of the beta, how do you plan to attract more users and expand your community?

Liam: Since the launch of the beta season in early June, the Aradena community has experienced remarkable growth, with over 20,000 new members joining across platforms like Twitter, Discord, and Telegram. To further expand the community globally, the team has devised a strategic plan.

Firstly, they will leverage key opinion leaders, forming partnerships with influential figures who can help attract new users in key geographical locations. Additionally, the team will employ organic content strategies to engage the community and spread awareness. Web3-targeted paid ads will be utilized to reach a wider audience and attract players to the Aradena eco.

Exciting tournaments will also be organized to captivate gamers and encourage their participation in Aradena. These initiatives, along with the team’s in-house marketing professionals and partnerships with leading marketing agencies, will be instrumental in achieving their target of 50,000 monthly active users (MAUs) by then end of Q4 2023.

Q4: Can you tell us about $AG, your IDO and what is the utility of the $AG token?

Liam: The Aradenean Gold token ($AG) serves multiple purposes within the Aradena: Battlegrounds eco. It enables users to acquire digital assets, such as gold-tier NFTs, from the Aradena Store. Through the store, players can purchase seasonal packs or specific gold-tier cards available in rotating store slots. In addition to acquiring assets, $AG can be utilised for various in-game features and enhancements.

Users can spend $AG to obtain game cosmetics, participate in tournaments, enhance quests, convert silver, manipulate RNG (Random Number Generator), recruit game avatars, form guilds, perform card sacrifices, stake for rewards, and provide liquidity to decentralized exchanges.

To ensure a robust economy right from the start, $AG will have immediate utility upon its launch. Some of the initial utilities include Aradena: Questing, a mini-game that allows players to upgrade their Warrior NFTs, and Aradena: Staking, which offers players the opportunity to earn attractive annual percentage rates (APRs). The APRs are determined by factors such as the staking duration, the amount staked, and the number of Aradena NFT assets owned by the player. Finally, the Aradena Store will be live, giving players the exciting opportunity to purchase loot chests with valuable in-game assets with their Aradenean Gold.

By owning $AG tokens, users can access a range of features and benefits, enhancing their gameplay experience and potentially earning rewards through staking.

After the launch of the Aradenean Gold ($AG) token, Phase 1 of the game store will become live. Players will have various options to enhance their gameplay experience using $AG tokens to purchase, pre-release bundles, gold card packs, loot chests, silver packs, silver coins, wine, potions, beast blood, card backs (IMX NFT), trophies (IMX NFT), and Golems (IMX NFT)
All store purchases will require deposited $AG, which can be done with a single blockchain transaction. Once the $AG is deposited into the game account, players can freely spend their deposited $AG without additional blockchain transactions.
