We saw that recently Affyn just did one of the biggest events - Evolution, can you share some key highlights for those who missed it?

(1)Revealed Buddy Arena:
Buddy Arena is a multiplayer online battle game that is a part of NEXUS World. It’s a fast-paced multiplayer brawler where players compete in collecting the most number of crystals.

With an assortment of weapons, skills and squads of Buddies, players duke it out in arenas, in teams or individually, to see who comes out on top. We designed this game with community-first in mind, to create real utility value for our FYN token Gen 0 Buddies and NEXUS World Land NFTs.

We wanted to have a huge database of users before the official launch of NEXUS World, so Buddy Arena is the solution to this and it is set to launch in app stores later this year. Everything you earn in this game will be interoperable and can be used in NEXUS World too.

(2)OG Mythical Buddy free mint NFTs:
With all the exciting collaborations and launches happening this year, we wanted to do something special to celebrate this milestone. More importantly, we wanted something to symbolize those who have been a part of us before the launch.

Therefore we have decided to launch our next NFT collection called the OG Edition Mythical Buddy, which is also free to mint. All 1988 OG Mythical Buddies are interoperable and can be used in our games and the open metaverse but won’t be available ever again after the launch. Similar to our first NFT collection, Generation Zero Buddies, which sold out in 100 seconds and went up more than 20x its original value. We also sold our Angelic Pigasus at 10 ETH.

We’re excited our community loved it. We’re actively giving away Guaranteed and Allowlist spots through quests and social activities. Check out our Events hub for more info (events.affyn.com)

Could you share more on one of your key strategies in user growth for Affyn?

We are confident that now it’s all about collaborating and working with one another to build something of great value for all of our users. - We’ve designed our growth strategy to create real value and demand entering the eco, to ultimately achieve our objective of funneling users from both the Web 2 and Web 3 side. This strategy works brilliantly hand in hand with our products, our community, and our partners.

Therefore, we have joined forces with some of the most exciting companies in the industry who shares the same belief and vision as us. Our partnerships with Warner Music Singapore, The Sandbox, Apeiron, Neopets Meta, and YGG SEA is set to help us all evolve bigger and better in the Web 3 space.

(1)NEXUS World Land: City Launch Wave 2:
Plots of Land in 8 metropolitan NEXUS World cities will be available for grabs on 18 May - Berlin, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Rome, San Francisco, Seoul, Tokyo.

We unveiled Singapore as our first NEXUS World City Launch, with 2,000 plots of Freehold Land claimed in 2 hours and 9 minutes, and successfully launched in London, Dublin, and Glasgow, with London selling out in 2 hours and 14 minutes.

Anyone can be a NEXUS World Landowner! All you have to do is create an Affyn marketplace account, buy your Flags and claim your land on the NEXUS World Viewer.

(2) Buddy Arena Closed Alpha
Starting 31 May, you will be able to access Buddy Arena Closed Alpha. We have been testing it internally and constantly developing this game but now we want to bring it to our community and get their feedback on how we can improve the game together.

That’s not all, we will also be hosting physical events for you to play Buddy Arena with your friends and family across Asia: Singapore, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong. Don’t worry if you can’t be there in-person, you can still register for Buddy Arena: Online Battle to get access to the game and receive the latest news and updates on its development.

Throughout the Closed Alpha, we are also giving away over 200 OG Edition Mythical Buddy NFT Guaranteed and AllowList spots to participants.
