Q1: What is Altered State Machine?

David: Altered State Machine (ASM) is a platform and protocol for the ownability, tradeability, composability, and interoperability of AI (GANS and ML reinforcement models), using NFTs.

It provides the world’s first open infrastructure for any individual to probably own, build, and govern their own AI.

Q2: What is the purpose of ASM?

David: ASM seeks to decentralize Artificial Intelligence and put the power of AI in the hands of everyday people. With the aim to improve the understanding and usage of AI, by taking consumers on a content and game-driven journey. Enabling users to gain a deeper understanding of how AI works, how they can interact with it, then how they can own and apply it in their lives.

Q3: What does ASM enable?

David: ASM holds a global patent-pending for the concept of attaching a ML model to an NFT. This foundational patent will be a key building block for the open Metaverse.
Providing other Web3 applications the ability to:

Define interoperable specifications for AI/ML models for use in apps across the Metaverse.
Use ASM infrastructure to create ‘training gyms’ (cloud GPU processors) where end users can train their own ML models.
Attach those ML models to a ‘Brain’ NFT that is probably owned by a customer.
Compose multiple AI capabilities under a single Brain NFT to create complex and highly capable AIs
Pair Brains with an NFT form (skin) to create autonomous Agents ready for the Metaverse.

Q4: What does the ASTO Token do?

David: ASTO enables the economy of the ASM protocol via:
Brain Training, ASTO-Energy generation (Æ), DAO Governance, In-game transactions and asset creation.

Q5: What brand partners are ASM working with right now?

David: FIFA, to develop a game called ‘AI League’. The AI League is a revolutionary 4-v-4 football game where you get to unleash a team of AI-powered footballers on the streets of the Metaverse and features the tactical style of play you’d expect from a cutting-edge football manager game.
Authentic Brands Group and Muhammad Ali Family Trust., to develop an AI Boxing game called ‘Muhammad Ali - The Next Legends’. The game will be driven by ASM’s artificial intelligence protocol.
ASM is also an integral part of the Futureverse roll-up which aims to make the onboarding onto web3 as seamless as possible.
