Q1: Please give us a brief introduction to WoofWork!

WoofOSHI: WoofWork is the Web3 Freelance Marketplace for Shibarium.
We support people around the world to hire and earn in cryptocurrency.
“Work in Crypto, Earn in Crypto!”

We launched 2 weeks ago, and have seen tremendous excitement from the community, or “WoofPack”. We welcome all the Gate community to join our friendly Telegram of over 4000 enthusiastic WoofWorkers.

Q2: We heard you have been working closely with the Unification Foundation, the development team spearheading Shiba’s Shibarium. Could you give us insight into what you’ve been doing with them?

WoofOSHI: Yes, the Unification Foundation are our tech partners. They are deeply involved in the development of the Shibarium network, so they are a natural choice.
Specifically, WoofWork is utilizing 2 of their tools:
1- Oracle of Oracles (OoO) - to ensure secure price data feeds for multi-currency payments for the freelance marketplace.
and
2- Beacon. We have just deployed a “Beacon” to stamp all job postings and hiring agreements immutably to the blockchain for decentralized dispute resolution.

Q3: What are your thoughts on the current freelancing marketplace? Do you see any issues with marketplaces like Fiverr and Upwork and how do you plan to solve them?

thurmOSHI: The current mainstream freelance platforms are taking too much of the creator’s earnings. Even when tipping a freelancer, they will take a portion of this as a fee. Problems like this are where WoofWork can truly navigate a new standard of freelancing platform payments by putting more money in the creator’s hands.
WoofOSHI: While marketplaces like Fiverr and Upwork have empowered freelancers around the world, several major issues remain—which WoofWork is focused on solving.
The WoofWork differences are simple:

No high fees (from 0% to 5% max)
Keep what you earn
Don’t have to worry about your account getting shut down
Open to everyone
Earn and pay in crypto — money of the future
Work and hire as an anonymous doggo if you prefer
Crypto transaction fees on Shibarium L2 will be near zero

Q4: What is the benefit of holding $WOOF, as opposed to other cryptocurrencies on the freelance marketplace?

SpaceGodOSHI: $WOOF is the Platform Utility Token for the WoofWork freelance marketplace and ecosystem. $WOOF will facilitate rewards, including the Wooferral Program and the Doghouse Staking Program. WOOF is the currency that facilitates transactions on the marketplace. There will be other tokens, such as ETH, SHIB, BTC and hundreds more that freelancers can choose to be paid with.

While all currencies have very low fees < 5% for most, 2.5% for SHIB, fees in $WOOF will be 0%.

Q5: What can we expect from WoofWork in 2023 and beyond?

WoofOSHI: There are 3 key areas of focus:

Marketing: Growing the WOOF brand and building our community

Development: of Woof Work freelance marketplace platform.

Business Development: To enlist excellent Woof Workers for platform enrichment and pre-population.

Each of these areas are growing in parallel.

For example, our Telegram and Twitter communities have exploded to 4000+ and 7000+ in the past 2 weeks. We have been listed on many excellent exchanges, including Gate.
And we have shown a preview video of the WoofWork platform in action.
