Q1: Can you start by introducing yourself as well as sharing some insight into your team background and recognitions?

Chris: Hi everyone! I’m Chris Carmona, Head of Community and Support at Bit.Country & Metaverse.Network. Bit.Country (Metaverse Hub of Polkadot) enables everyone to start their own metaverse with a 3D world, digital real estate, user-created games, NFTs, social token and play-to-earn-mining opportunities.

We are backed by a global leader, a unicorn in blockchain gaming, Animoca Brands, and a big influencer network Walsh Wealth Ventures with 200M fans.

Q2: Next, we would like to learn more about Bit.Country & Metaverse.Network. Can you please share a brief overview of your project?

Chris: Bit.Country is a Platform for user-created Metaverses. Any person, NFT project, community builder, or company looking for a Metaverse they can call home for their communities can build a digital world, mint NFTs, and sell them in a Metaverse-specific Marketplace, or Globally across all Metaverses totally from scratch by following few simple steps, no technical or blockchain development skill needed.

Metaverse.Network is our own Substrate-based blockchain. The blockchain is custom-made and open for Metaverse projects, meaning no high gas fees for interacting or performing transactions on our network. Bit.Country is the first Metaverse Application created on top of Metaverse.Network. Our blockchain is connected as a Parachain to Polkadot’s canary network, the Kusama relay chain.

Q3: What is Bit.Country’s vision for the metaverse and what gap is it seeking to fill in the current market?

Chris: We realized early on that the idea of creating “The perfect metaverse” differs widely from person to person depending on their individual needs and expectations. So we came up with the solution of providing “Metaverse as a Service,” which means that anyone can now bring the metaverse of their dreams to life to suit their own design, purposes and better yet, reflect their unique community culture, where they can establish their own rules and reward followers and contributors. Co-creation allows metaverse owners to build their perfect metaverse alongside their community and this strengthens the feeling of community ownership and reward. Minting your own NFTs and creating your own custom digital world is easy and straightforward, as well as affordable, with low gas fees. Metaverse Owners will only need to spend resources on what matters the most - their communities.

Q4: What distinctive features make Bit.Country stand out from other metaverse projects?

Q6: Utility is the future of NFTs. Can you tell us about the role Utility NFTs play in Bit.Country?

Chris: Utility NFTs reach far beyond just being unique digital assets, providing the owner with certain rights, rewards, access and privileges. The metaverse is the perfect playground to showcase and demonstrate utility NFTs and we believe that we have not even begun to scratch the surface of all the use cases to come for Utility NFTs. In Bit.Country all the wearables for your Avatar are NFTs. Almost all, if not all the 3D objects you place in the world are NFTs, with the potential of affording holders access to events, specific features, or experiences. If you decide to build in voxel mode, the team is currently working on a feature for voxel builders to create and sell their voxel-created structures as NFTs, All this will be possible thanks to NFTs, transferable and non-transferable (wallet-bounded). Chris: The Bit.Country network serves individuals, influencers, entrepreneurs, and community owners looking to grow their engagement with their fans or followers. Bit.Country aims to be the platform for new entrepreneurs and business owners to create successful and active communities.
