Hello dear users, on December 29, 2023, gate received a token swap notice from SAITAMAproject party. We actively cooperate with the project party to handle the currency exchange. In the course of communication with the project party, we learned that there was an incident of internal employees stealing funds from the SAITAMA project and transferring them to gate. Subsequently, the project party said that it could not help gate complete all the token exchanges. Out of the principle of being responsible for users, Gate originally planned not to support redemption, and issued an announcement after Project Party agreed, informing users to contact Project Party to handle redemption matters. However, in the later stage, due to the suspension of the transfer function of the old Token contract by the project party, the original plan could not be continued. Due to the delay in the provision of sufficient tokens by the project party, after communicating with the project party again, we confirmed that SAITAMA had redeemed a part of the tokens. Gate promises that once the project party completes the redemption, it will immediately distribute the remaining tokens to users to ensure that the rights and interests of users are protected, thank you for your understanding and support.
