With the recent entry of BlackRock, the currency under the RWA concept has started a wave of market.
What is RWA?
RWA (Real World Assets) refers to the concept of real-world assets in the cryptocurrency space. These assets can be traditional financial assets such as real estate, stocks, bonds, etc., or other assets related to the real economy. In the cryptocurrency space, RWA is often used to increase the stability and utility of cryptocurrencies and make them better interfacing with the traditional financial system.
In fact, in a nutshell: "real asset tokenization", any physical asset that can be tokenized and represented on the chain can be called RWA. For example: real estate, cash (US dollars), metals (gold, silver, etc.), luxury goods, bonds, insurance, etc.
