[Company News] China Aluminum International Zhongse Technology hosts the 2026 (6th) Non-Ferrous Metal Intelligent Manufacturing High-End Forum
Recently, the 2026 (6th) High-End Forum on Intelligent Manufacturing of Nonferrous Metals, hosted by China Aluminum International Zhongse Technology, was held in Luoyang.
During the forum, the Zhongse Technology delegation, led by relevant personnel, held in-depth exchanges with experts and leaders, including Gu Wei Hua, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Zhang Di, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Jia Mingxing, Chairman of the China Nonferrous Metals Society; Ren Lijun, Deputy Mayor of the People’s Government of Luoyang City; Pan Gang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province; Liu Jing, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of China Aluminum International; Pang Xinchang, Vice President of Henan University of Science and Technology; and others. They focused on introducing the company’s achievements in areas such as production and operations and technological innovation. Jia Mingxing expressed his gratitude to Zhongse Technology for its efforts in ensuring the smooth hosting of the forum and congratulated the company on its outstanding results in various aspects of its work. He said that the society will continue to play a good bridging and connecting role, actively build high-level academic exchange platforms, promote the deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and provide stronger support for the development of universities, research institutes, and enterprises in the industry.
With the guidance of the former Raw Materials Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the forum was hosted by the China Nonferrous Metals Society and the National Nonferrous Metals Industry Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance, and themed “Digital Intelligence Empowers, New Quality Development.” It set up five sub-venues: Intelligent Optimization Manufacturing for Mining and Metallurgical Processes, Intelligent Manufacturing Systems for Nonferrous Metallurgy, Intelligent Processing, Intelligent Equipment and Testing, and Mine Intelligent Tailings Filling Technology and Equipment. It brought together top experts and scholars in the industry, enterprise leaders, and technical elites to jointly discuss the latest research achievements and future development in the field of intelligent manufacturing of nonferrous metals. Chairman Jia Mingxing, Deputy Mayor Ren Lijun, General Manager Liu Jing, and Vice President Pang Xinchang attended the conference and delivered speeches. Experts and representatives from governments, universities, research institutes, academic (associations) organizations, and enterprises, nearly 300 in total, attended the conference, including Academician Gu Wei Hua of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Academician Zhang Di of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Pan Gang, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province; Zhao Li, Chairwoman of the Luoyang Municipal Association for Science and Technology; Chen Hong, Deputy Director of the Luoyang Municipal Science and Technology Bureau; Zhai Fangfang, Deputy Director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau; Zhang Xianli, Deputy District Head of the Jianxi District; Ma Cheng, General Manager of Luoyang Unicom; Han Tao, Deputy General Manager of Luoyang Aluminum Processing; Liu Wei, Chief Engineer of Shenyang Institute of Aluminium Group; Cao Bin, Senior Technical Expert at China Aluminum Zhengzhou Research Institute; Li Jie, Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Low-Carbon Nonferrous Metallurgy at Central South University; Liu Libin, Executive President of the Henan Nonferrous Metals Industry Association; Wu Jun, Deputy General Manager of Wanjia Holding Group; Wang Wenwu, Deputy General Manager of Sinosteel Luolai; Wang Lijiao, Deputy General Manager of Henan Mingtai; and others. The opening ceremony of the conference was hosted by Gao Huanzhi, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Nonferrous Metals Society.
After the opening ceremony, Ning Qianjin, General Manager of Zhongse Technology, was invited to preside over the session for the invited keynote reports. Academician Gu Wei Hua, Academician Zhang Di, Director Li Jie, Vice General Manager Tang Feng, and Zhang Qiang, President of the School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology, respectively delivered keynote speeches. Vice General Manager Tang Feng of Zhongse Technology delivered a keynote themed “Intelligent Empowerment of Nonferrous Metals, Digital Innovation for the Future—Opening a New Journey for Nonferrous Smart Manufacturing.” He deeply analyzed common challenges faced by the industry during its digital and intelligent transformation process, such as the digital foundation, full-process control, and the release of data value, and proposed four major development directions: full-chain digitalization of process workflows, intelligent production equipment, comprehensive intelligence across factory operations, and coordinated industrial ecosystem building. He also introduced Zhongse Technology as a comprehensive engineering and technology enterprise, stating that it has the capability to provide one-stop solutions from top-level consulting to full lifecycle operation and maintenance. Finally, Zhongse Technology proposed to the whole industry to work together, deepen technological integration, build an industrial ecosystem together, and jointly embark on a new journey in nonferrous intelligent manufacturing, contributing industry strength to the building of a manufacturing powerhouse.
The Intelligent Processing sub-venue was hosted by Zhongse Technology’s Intelligent Technology Company. Zhang Yi, Dean of the School of Materials at Henan University of Science and Technology, and Yao Peng, Deputy General Manager of the Intelligent Technology Company, presided over the meeting. About 50 representatives from universities and related enterprises attended. At the Intelligent Processing sub-venue, 16 experts delivered thematic reports. Attendees held in-depth discussions around intelligent processing technologies and equipment.
The High-End Forum on Intelligent Manufacturing of Nonferrous Metals is an important annual academic conference in the field of intelligent manufacturing for China’s nonferrous metals industry. Zhongse Technology has led the organization of the main forum and the Intelligent Processing sub-venue for four consecutive years, fully demonstrating its technological strength and industry influence in the field of intelligent manufacturing of nonferrous metals.
