Just saw that Brad Garlinghouse from Ripple had this insane wedding on the French Riviera last year with Chris Martin from Coldplay literally performing Yellow for their first dance. Like... the guest list was wild — Nina Dobrev, Zac Efron, all these Hollywood people. Thousands of roses, chandelier hall, the whole luxury thing. And get this, his wife is a dietitian named Tara Milsti. The guy's worth like $10 billion so I guess he went all out.
What's interesting though is Brad Garlinghouse's wife situation happened right after that huge SEC settlement with Ripple back in 2023. That was actually massive for the whole crypto space — SEC basically stopped claiming XRP was an unregistered security. Garlinghouse called it a victory for the industry, not just Ripple.
XRP has been kinda volatile since then. It's trading around $1.32 now, down a bit from where it was. The whole situation with Brad Garlinghouse getting married on the French Riviera while Ripple's dealing with all these regulatory battles is kind of a vibe though. Like, one minute you're fighting the SEC, next minute you're having Coldplay perform at your wedding. Crypto life is wild.
