Trump: Agree to a two-week ceasefire on the condition that Iran opens the Strait of Hormuz

On the evening of the 7th, U.S. President Trump posted on social media that he had spoken with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz and Army Chief Munir, and that they requested the U.S. to temporarily halt airstrikes against Iran. “I agree to pause bombing and attacks on Iran for two weeks, provided that the Islamic Republic of Iran agrees to fully, immediately, and safely open the Strait of Hormuz.” (Xinhua News Agency)
