Oh, the situation has gotten bad again.

Trump: The U.S. Navy will blockade the Strait of Hormuz, intercept all ships paying tolls to Iran
On April 12, Trump posted on Truth Social that the meeting went smoothly, most issues were agreed upon, but the only truly important issue—the nuclear problem—was not resolved. Starting immediately, the world's most elite U.S. Navy will begin to block all ships attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz. We will ultimately achieve a situation where "all ships can come and go," but Iran has obstructed this process citing "possible mines somewhere," which only they know about. This is extortion worldwide; leaders of all countries, especially American leaders, will never succumb to such blackmail.
I have instructed the Navy to search and intercept all ships paying tolls to Iran in international waters. Anyone illegally paying tolls will not be able to pass safely on the high seas. We will also begin to destroy the mines Iran has laid in the strait. Any Iranian daring to fire upon us or peaceful ships will be blown to pieces! Iran knows better than anyone how to end this crisis that has already destroyed their country. Their navy is gone, their air force is gone, their air defense systems and radars are useless, Khamenei and most of their "leaders" are dead—all because of their nuclear ambitions. The blockade is about to begin. Other countries will also participate. We will never allow Iran to profit from this illegal extortion. They want money, and more importantly, they want nuclear weapons. Furthermore, at the right time, we are fully prepared; our military will completely destroy everything remaining in Iran! $WLFI
