Century Huatong's Second "ShuLong Cup" Global AI Competition officially kicks off today

Sina Technology News, April 2nd afternoon news, launched today is the second “ShuLong Cup” Global AI Innovation Competition initiated by Century Huatong (Rights Protection). The competition official website has been simultaneously opened.

In terms of track setup, this year’s competition divides into three major tracks: AI Gaming, AI Applications, and AI Intelligent Agents, fully covering the core application fields of current artificial intelligence technology.

Regional empowerment has become an important highlight of this “ShuLong Cup.” The event organizers will coordinate with multiple partners to set up special offline activities in Hangzhou, Macau, and Shanghai. At the same time, the online live salon format from the first competition will be retained, focusing on the theme of “AI+” and the roadshows of participating teams.

Compared to the first event, the second “ShuLong Cup” places more emphasis on the post-incubation and long-term support of participating projects. In addition to cash prizes, a diversified special reward system has been created to provide comprehensive empowerment for teams—from exposure and resources to capital and technology. The core feature reward of this competition is “One registration, participation in two competitions.” The event has been deeply linked with the 4th “WenChuang Shanghai” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and teams shortlisted for the “ShuLong Cup” can also participate in the “Smart Future+” track evaluation of the 4th “WenChuang Shanghai” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

On the industry and capital connection level, the competition can offer outstanding teams one-on-one communication opportunities with senior executives; meanwhile, Century Huatong’s investment department will provide dedicated investment matchmaking services for quality projects to help them secure funding. Additionally, all excellent projects will be included in the competition resource database, receiving long-term industry resource connection services.

This year’s competition features a complete event promotion process. From April 2 to May 31 is the submission period, open to global AI innovation teams and developers; June 1 to June 15 is the initial screening phase, conducting the first round of professional review of all entries; June 16 to June 30 is the re-evaluation and shortlist period, where projects passing the initial review will undergo further assessment to determine the teams advancing to offline evaluation; in mid to late July, offline evaluation of shortlisted projects will be held for professional competition; the final awards ceremony will be held at ChinaJoy 2026 on July 31, announcing the winners and recognizing outstanding AI innovation achievements and teams.

It is reported that the first “ShuLong Cup” Global AI Innovation Competition was successfully held in 2025, with over 150 high-quality innovative teams worldwide actively participating, collecting 120 effective works, and ultimately 11 winning teams stood out, winning 6 major awards. Among them, the winning team HaiYi Interactive gained strategic investment from Century Huatong for their excellent project, and the team MeCoolRui received joint investment from Shanghai Angel Association.
