ME News Report, April 12 (UTC+8), stablecoin issuer Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino posted on the X platform stating, “Artificial intelligence should be as open as freedom.” He believes that the development path of centralized artificial intelligence has reached a “dead end,” and against the backdrop of large tech companies continuously building closed AI systems, Tether is moving in the opposite direction. The company will explore solutions for running AI models on local devices through QVAC, allowing users to have autonomous control over their data and computing power. This model also aligns more with the core of the crypto industry’s “self-custody,” meaning users should have full autonomy over their data and computational resources. (Source: PANews)
