Hong Kong Stablecoin License Announced

But Overseas Users Are Not Buying It
What they want is not "compliance,"
but deeper liquidity, broader access, and lower friction.
Existing USD stablecoins are already deeply embedded in exchanges, protocols, and wallet ecosystems. The hardest part for newcomers is not obtaining a license, but changing user habits.
What’s missing is not a new identity, but a new reason:
Why switch from existing options to Hong Kong’s?
Why add a new system for cross-border payments?
Why should protocols and market makers reallocate resources for newcomers?
Relying solely on "I have a license" won't convince the market.
The ones who can truly win are those who solve user pain points, offer lower friction, and provide infrastructure with deeper liquidity.
