Mars Finance reports that on April 12, Peter Girnus, who recently claimed to be a WLFI Web3 Ambassador, published an article involving WLFI and sparked discussion in the community. WLFI responded, stating, “After verification, the author of this article is not a WLFI team member and has no association with WLFI whatsoever.” WLFI CEO Zach Witkoff also publicly responded under the related tweet, saying, “Peter Girnus lacks an understanding of basic facts. Clarification is as follows: · World Liberty and the Meme Coin TRUMP have absolutely no relation; · World Liberty has no connection with Fight Fight Fight or CIC Digital; · Our early holders were bought in at $0.015 and $0.05, and the current price is $0.08 · We do not primarily earn ‘transaction fees’ as our main source of revenue. Our core product is stablecoins, whose income comes from government bond assets. Based on trading volume and market capitalization, our stablecoin is the second-largest stablecoin that meets GENIUS standards.”
