On March 31, the Iranian Red Crescent Society stated that multiple non-military facilities in Iran were hit by airstrikes from the United States and Israel. That evening, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency quoted the Iranian Red Crescent Society reporting that several hours earlier, non-military zone facilities in Iran had been targeted by U.S. and Israeli airstrikes, including the Mobarak Steel Company in Isfahan in central Iran, a white steel enterprise in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province in the southwest, Bushir meteorological facilities, and a residential complex in Malard, Tehran Province. The report said that, according to international humanitarian law, attacking non-military zones and residential areas across the country is a blatant violation of the basic rules of war and constitutes a “war crime.”(Xinhua News Agency)
