Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Iravani, stated during a Security Council meeting on the 7th that Iran firmly rejects a temporary ceasefire and demands that the United States and Israel completely cease their aggression. The Iranian Students’ News Agency quoted Iravani as saying: “Any plan to end the conflict must ensure that acts of aggression are completely and irreversibly stopped, establish credible and verifiable guarantees to prevent future aggression, and on this basis, achieve just and lasting peace.” ( Xinhua News Agency )
