I just came across something interesting: Bitcoin has dropped out of the top 10 of global assets by market capitalization. It is now below Tesla, which is quite remarkable considering how large Bitcoin still is with a market cap of around $1.4 trillion.
This clearly indicates how enormous the market capitalization of traditional companies and assets can grow. Tesla alone has accumulated significant value, and Bitcoin now has to catch up to much larger stocks when looking at pure market capitalization.
An interesting moment to see how the rankings shift. Market capitalization remains an important metric, but it also shows that crypto is still relatively small compared to the largest global assets.
