U.S. media reports that more than a thousand U.S. troops have been withdrawn from Bahrain

ME News Report, April 5 (UTC+8), National Public Radio in the United States on April 3 quoted a U.S. Navy spokesperson as saying that since the start of the conflict between the U.S. and Iran, 1,500 U.S. military personnel and their families stationed at the U.S. military base in Bahrain have been “repatriated to the United States.” The report also mentioned that personnel have been evacuated from other U.S. military bases in the Middle East, but specific numbers are not yet clear.
