The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Exhibition Area Debuts at the Zhongguancun Exhibition Center Permanent Exhibition

China News Service Beijing, March 25 — ( Reporter Lü Shaowei ) During the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Exhibition Area was showcased at the Zhongguancun Exhibition Center as a permanent display. Through panels, exhibits, videos, and other forms, it provides a three-dimensional, multi-angle promotion of the new achievements in the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.

The exhibition area was jointly planned by the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Joint Office and relevant departments from the three provinces and cities, focusing on the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation. It is divided into three sections: “Optimizing and Improving the Functional Layout of One Core and Two Wings,” “Accelerating the Construction of a Modern Capital Metropolitan Area,” and “Creating a More Resilient and Vibrant Industrial Chain Cluster.”

Focusing on innovation and industrial collaboration in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, the exhibition carefully selected a series of representative exhibits. For example, Tujian Technology developed a stretchable, multimodal flexible electronic skin, supported by the national disruptive technological innovation special project. It can integrate 400 sensors per square centimeter, with a spatial resolution as low as 0.5mm, capable of accurately capturing tactile information such as force, temperature, and texture. It also features over 1 million usage cycles, waterproofing, and shock resistance, and will be applied in embodied intelligent robots and dexterous hands.

The SPECT/PET/CT integrated machine, jointly developed by Hebei Ruishi Xinhe, Tsinghua University, and Tianjin Tumor Hospital, is a result of the transformation of a major national scientific research instrument project. Its core components are 100% independently controllable. It can complete whole-body precise quantitative imaging within 10 minutes per scan, with dynamic imaging capabilities supporting millisecond-level 4D imaging. The Tianjin Metro Line 22 trains, independently developed by Beijing Rail Transit Technology Equipment Group and manufactured at the Jingtuo Equipment Hebei Beijing Car Intelligent Manufacturing Base, use 8-car D-type trains designed for a maximum speed of 200 km/h and operational speed of 160 km/h. Line 22 is the first cross-regional rail transit line in Beijing and Hebei, with the Hongmiao to Pinggu stations expected to be operational by the end of this year.

A relevant official from the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission told China News Service that Beijing adheres to a strategy of “releasing more space for innovation,” efficiently utilizing vacated areas to cultivate new drivers of growth. The upgraded wholesale market of Beijing Zoo has become a national demonstration zone for financial technology, gathering 280 related enterprises and institutions. The old factory buildings of Beijing Jinyu Tiantan Furniture have been transformed into the “Jinyu Intelligent Manufacturing Park,” attracting nearly 300 tech companies.

Xiong’an New Area is building an innovation highland and entrepreneurial hotbed. Headquarters of China Star Network, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, and China Huaneng have settled in Xiong’an. The first batch of four universities relocating here is entering large-scale construction. The aerospace information industry is gradually forming a full-process innovation ecosystem, from technological R&D and成果转化 to scene application and industrial landing. The technological innovation functions of Beijing’s sub-center continue to strengthen, with a pilot plan for the market-oriented allocation of factors approved by the State Council, the unveiling of the National Green Technology Trading Center, and accelerated gathering of high-quality technological innovation resources.

Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei are speeding up tackling key issues, jointly releasing two batches of key projects. Key problem-solving efforts have achieved full coverage, with over 340 new component companies added to the new energy and intelligent connected vehicle industry chain. The hydrogen energy industry chain is basically connected across “production, storage, transportation, processing, and application.” The “Seven Major” advanced manufacturing clusters are accelerating in capability, with the new generation information technology application and innovation cluster surpassing a output value of 1.6 trillion yuan, and the traditional Chinese medicine industrial output value in the life and health cluster reaching 400 billion yuan. Meanwhile, the three regions are proactively planning future industries such as commercial spaceflight, synthetic biology, artificial intelligence, and humanoid robots, continuously cultivating new economic growth points.

The industrial innovation environment in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei continues to improve. The science and technology financial service chain is being rapidly enhanced, with the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Financial and Enterprise Financing Docking Conference held for three consecutive years, and the establishment of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Venture Capital Guidance Fund. Talent mobility is promoted through the construction of the Beijing-Xiong’an Talent and Innovation Corridor. The role of social organizations is leveraged to support coordinated development, with the official unveiling of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Advanced Manufacturing Industry Cluster Alliance. The regional business environment is continuously optimized, with 73 government service halls across the three regions achieving “cross-regional processing,” and 209 mutual recognition of qualifications.
