Sudan extends the opening period of a western port to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid supplies

On March 31 local time, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that the Sudanese government has decided to extend the opening period of the Adre border crossing between Sudan and Chad until June 30 of this year to facilitate humanitarian aid organizations in delivering relief supplies to Sudan through this border crossing. The statement indicated that this move reflects the Sudanese government’s commitment and ongoing efforts to ensure that people across the country have access to humanitarian assistance, and it aligns with the purpose of constructive cooperation between the Sudanese government and international organizations.
