The KCNA Commentary on the 13th said that Japan is trying to remilitarize and revive militarism, disregarding the world’s strong concern and condemnation, and will cross the “red line.” The commentary pointed out that, given the reality now, because Japan has revived militarism, the regional security environment has become even more severe. If Japan continues to carry on irresponsibly in a way that is inappropriate for the times—as it does now—regardless of the world’s strong concern and condemnation, and crosses the “red line,” it will ultimately get pulled into trouble.

At the early hours of the 9th, Japan’s Ministry of Defense had already transported the launch apparatus for its land-based improved Type 12 anti-ship missile to the Ground Self-Defense Force Jiegun Garrison in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, and said it will formally deploy it at the Jiegun Garrison on the 31st of this month.
