Iranian senior officials: The United States has agreed to lift the freeze on Iran's assets held in Qatar and other foreign banks

ME News Report, April 11 (UTC+8), senior officials in Iran stated that the United States has agreed to lift the freeze on Iranian assets held in “Qatar and other foreign banks.” Iran considers this a test of good faith and a demonstration of the sincerity of all parties committed to reaching a lasting peace agreement. Before any lasting peace agreement is reached, the asset thaw also “directly relates to ensuring the safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.” (Source: PANews)
