Domestic cotton spot prices fluctuate upward.

On March 18th, the nationwide standard-grade cotton (Grade 3128B) had a weighted average price of 16,897 yuan per ton, up 229 yuan per ton week-on-week, up 809 yuan per ton month-on-month, and up 1,990 yuan per ton year-on-year. The rise in crude oil has driven fluctuations in the prices of agricultural products such as cotton, with overall tight supply and demand in the domestic cotton market. Cotton prices have fluctuated and strengthened, but downstream acceptance remains weak, with a strong wait-and-see sentiment. Futures prices have already declined somewhat.
