COMSTOCK RESOURCES, INC. ANNOUNCES SELECTION OF WESTERN HAYNESVILLE SITE TO HOST POWER GENERATION HUB
Comstock Resources, Inc. announced that its Western Haynesville site in Anderson County, Texas, has been selected to host the Texas Natural Gas-Fired Power Generation Hub. This project, a collaboration with NextEra Energy, is part of a U.S.-Japan trade deal involving a $550 billion investment and will feature up to 5.2 GW of natural gas-fired generation, with Comstock supplying nearly 1 Bcf per day of natural gas by 2031 for the $16 billion facility.
