According to the official website, the main responsibilities of the Foreign Investment Department are to guide the international operations and overseas asset layout optimization and structural adjustment of the regulated enterprises, undertake the supervision of overseas assets of the regulated enterprises, strengthen risk prevention and mitigation related to overseas investment and operation, and handle emergencies and crises related to overseas incidents.
