People’s Finance News, April 8 — Local time on April 8, the ship-tracking website MarineTraffic recorded the first vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz after the US and Iran agreed to a ceasefire. It is understood that the Greek-flagged bulk carrier “NJ Earth” transited the strait at 8:44 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time, while “Daytona Beach,” flying the Liberian flag, transited at 6:59 a.m. GMT; earlier, the vessel had departed Abadan Port at 5:28 a.m. GMT. According to MarineTraffic data, there are still hundreds of ships in the area, including 426 oil tankers, 34 liquefied petroleum gas carriers, and 19 liquefied natural gas carriers. (CCTV News)
