The China Development Bank issues 12 billion yuan in green financial bonds, focusing on supporting green upgrades of infrastructure

On March 5th, the China Development Bank successfully issued 12 billion yuan of 3-year green financial bonds at the Shanghai Clearing House, with an issuance rate of 1.55% and a subscription multiple of 3.01 times. As of now, the China Development Bank has issued a total of 241.5B yuan of green financial bonds. This issuance strictly followed the “Green Finance Support Project Catalog (2025 Edition),” selecting projects with a green rating of G1 (the highest level). The funds raised will mainly be used for fields such as green infrastructure upgrades, energy green and low-carbon transformation, resource recycling industries, and energy-saving and carbon reduction industries.
