ME News update, April 2 (UTC+8), ME News update, April 2 (UTC+8), stablecoin payment card infrastructure service provider Kulipa announced the completion of a $6.2 million seed round. Flourish Ventures and 1kx co-led the round, with White Star Capital and Fabric Ventures participating. The company helps fintech firms issue white-label stablecoin payment cards without having to manage card operations themselves. According to Kulipa co-founder and CEO Axel Cateland, this round of funding was actually completed last December, using a simple agreement for future equity (SAFE) financing structure, but he declined to disclose details such as when the financing process began, the tranche structure, the company valuation, and how board seats would be allocated.
