Many parts of South China are experiencing local temperatures exceeding 40°C. Experts say: the high-temperature range will continue to expand over the next week.

Over the past two days, high temperatures have persisted across many parts of southern China. In places such as Chengmai, Tunchang, and Baisha in Hainan, temperatures have exceeded 40°C. “Meteorological experts noted that over the coming week, the area affected by the heat will continue to expand to most of southern China.
