Been tracking what stocks Nancy Pelosi is buying lately, and her recent 2026 moves are pretty interesting. Turns out the congresswoman and her husband Paul just filed disclosures showing they're loading up on mega-cap tech again - we're talking Alphabet, Amazon, Nvidia, plus some AI plays. Pretty much what you'd expect from someone with a $275M net worth who's been crushing it in markets.

So what stocks is Nancy Pelosi buying exactly? The filing shows she exercised call options on several big names back in mid-January. Nvidia got 5,000 shares (options struck at $80), Alphabet took 5,000 shares (struck at $150), Amazon another 5,000 (also $150 strike). But here's where it gets interesting - they also went into Tempus AI, an AI precision medicine company, and Vistra, a Texas-based power company. The Vistra move is basically a proxy bet on AI infrastructure since data centers are electricity hogs. Meta just signed a 20-year power deal with them, so that makes sense.

Looking at the performance, what stocks is Nancy Pelosi buying has clearly paid off. Over the year from January 2025 to January 2026, Alphabet returned 74.6%, Tempus AI jumped 121%, Nvidia was up 41.4%. Even Amazon's modest 9.8% beat sitting in cash. The whole portfolio returned around 41.7% - basically doubled the S&P 500's 20.3% return. The theme is obvious: these are bets on AI growth and tech dominance.

The one outlier was AllianceBernstein, a $1-5M purchase without options involved. That's probably just diversification into financials. But honestly, what stocks is Nancy Pelosi buying tells you something about where the smart money thinks the next decade is heading. Whether you follow her moves or not, the AI and cloud computing angle seems pretty hard to ignore right now.
