On April 7, Web3 security company CertiK announced the launch of its AI auditing tool, AI Auditor, along with a series of open-source integration solutions for AI development agents. Initially designed as an auxiliary tool for its internal security experts, the system has now been officially released after more than six months of validation in real-world scenarios. In an assessment of 35 actual Web3 security incidents from 2026 (with test data not involved in model training or knowledge base construction), CertiK’s AI Auditor accurately identified 88.6% of the causes of real vulnerabilities. The system is designed to emphasize a ‘high signal-to-noise ratio,’ significantly reducing false positive noise while maintaining high detection capabilities. As AI development tools and agents become standard for Web3 development teams, the industry’s security logic is rapidly evolving from ‘post-event detection’ to ‘full-process embedding.’ CertiK’s AI Auditor shifts security audits, which were previously independent of project late stages, to a continuously running auxiliary function within the workflow; allowing developers to gain on-chain security insights without switching environments, thus shortening response times to emerging threats. The AI Auditor has been incorporated into CertiK’s long-term AI business roadmap. CertiK stated that the team is currently developing more new features, planning to further integrate security capabilities into a broader range of developer tools, compliance processes, and institutional-level monitoring systems.
