The country's first insert-type segmental tunnel high-speed rail tunnel shield machine is launched.
Today (the 31st), the ultra-large-diameter tunnel boring machine “Fanjiehao,” independently developed by our country, successfully rolled off the line in Nantong, Jiangsu. It will be used for the Yangtze River tunnel project of the Yancheng–Yichang high-speed railway. The project is the first high-speed rail shield tunnel in China to adopt socket-and-spigot segmental lining; construction of the tunnel will help propel China’s ultra-large-diameter underwater shield tunnels toward an era of fully intelligent construction.
