ME News message, April 7 (UTC+8). The Polygon Foundation posted on X that the Giugliano hard fork upgrade will take place at around 22:00 Beijing time on April 8, at Polygon mainnet block height 85,268,500. This upgrade includes: enabling block producers to announce blocks earlier to achieve faster finality; adding fee parameters directly into the block header; and introducing a new RPC interface to support fee data. The official notice reminds all node operators to upgrade Bor to version v2.7.0, or upgrade Erigon to version v3.5.0, to ensure normal operation. (Source: Foresight News)
