As for the news, according to the “2026 January–February Power Grid Investment Completion Status Announcement” officially released by State Grid Corporation of China on March 20, 2026, and the report “Power Grid Construction Accelerates at the Start of the ‘15th Five-Year Plan’—Ultra-High-Voltage Projects Roll Out in Quick Succession” published by China Energy News on April 1, 2026, State Grid’s investment momentum continues to be stepped up. From January to February 2026, cumulative fixed-asset investment completed 757 billion yuan, representing a substantial year-on-year increase of 80.6%; in late March, two major flagship projects were rolled out. Sichuan’s first 500 kV transmission and transformation project under the “15th Five-Year Plan” and the Panzhixi ultra-high-voltage AC project were launched successively, with total investment exceeding 240 billion yuan in aggregate, further highlighting the sustained high level of industry momentum.
