Zelensky: Willing to hold tripartite talks among Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia anywhere

According to a report from Ukrinform International News Agency dated the 27th, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on a television program that day that Ukraine supports holding a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia, and is willing to do so anywhere.

Zelensky said that Ukraine “communicates with the U.S. every day,” but “has run into difficulties,” and feels that it is acting as a mediator in the negotiation process rather than a party to the conflict. He said that due to the situation in the Middle East and for security reasons, the U.S. can hold talks only in the United States, while Russia “is willing to hold talks anywhere other than in the United States.”

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is working to facilitate holding a trilateral meeting anywhere. (Xinhua)
