China Nuclear Power: The online electricity generation in the first quarter was 54.93B kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 2.7%.

China Nuclear Power’s April 6 announcement: As of March 31, 2026, the company’s cumulative on-grid commercial power generation for the first quarter of 2026 was 58.11B kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 2.73%; on-grid electricity output was 54.93B kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 2.7%. In the first quarter of 2026, the company’s cumulative power generation from its nuclear power units was 47.86B kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 3.29%; cumulative on-grid electricity output was 44.85B kWh, a year-on-year decrease of 3.28%. The main reason for the year-on-year declines in power generation and on-grid electricity output is that the number of days during which the nuclear power units underwent maintenance and inspections was more than in the same period last year.
