Interactive Tutorial | Autonomous IP Layer 1 "Camp Network" How to Master On-Chain AI Creation?
Author: momo, ChainCatcher
Recently, Camp Network, a self-sovereign IP Layer 1 blockchain, in collaboration with MERV, StoryChain, and Rob Feldman, launched an on-chain AI content creation campaign, attracting a large number of users to participate.
According to Camp Network’s official Twitter data, within just a few days of the campaign going live, it has already attracted more than 50k users to participate and 125k times of IP secondary creations.
Camp Network can be described as one of the interactive projects that community users have been paying more attention to recently. In May this year, Camp Network launched the K2 testnet and simultaneously kicked off the “Summit Series” activity. Users explore the ecosystem’s dApps through on-chain tasks to earn points rewards. This on-chain AI content creation campaign is also one of the “Summit Series” events in the testnet.
This article will briefly outline the overview of Camp Network and provide an interactive tutorial for the on-chain AI content creation campaign.
In the AI Agent wave, building an autonomous IP-dedicated Layer1
With the rapid development of AI, creators are facing increasingly serious IP management problems. Large models are trained using content without authorization, causing creators to lose control over their intellectual property (IP), as well as control of its visibility and revenue.
In high-frequency AI content generation scenarios, traditional IP management methods are no longer suitable, and issues such as unclear ownership, rampant piracy, and licensing disputes are even more prominent.
As AI agents gradually replace traditional information processing methods, users’ own IP and vertical AI agents fine-tuned based on it become the core value. However, the market lacks solutions specifically designed for combining IP with AI, making it unable to meet creators’ needs for protecting their rights and interests in the digital economy.
Camp Network targets this market gap by building a Layer1 focused on native IP and designed to support AI agents with user identities.
According to Camp Network’s whitepaper, its core highlights include:
Support for IP tokenization: Anyone can put music, images, videos, personal data, and other IP on-chain, use it for AI training, and earn revenue.
No-Gas registration and royalties: On-chain IP and royalty splits are exempt from Gas fees, with low cost and high efficiency.
Isolated execution environment: A dedicated environment designed for AI agents and automated licensing, flexible and efficient.
Support for dedicated application chains: Developers can launch independent chains with their own block space and compute power, suitable for high-performance requirements.
Camp Network states that over the next few months, with the mainnet launch, dozens of new applications will be released, covering areas such as music, entertainment, and social media. Currently, its ecosystem partners have served more than 5 million users.
Interactive tutorial for the on-chain AI content creation campaign
Camp Network’s on-chain AI content creation campaign includes three sections: social tasks, MERV tasks, and StoryChain tasks. The specific tutorial is as follows:
Social tasks
Follow Merv, Merv Toon, Storychain on the X platform; join Storychain’s Discord and Telegram
MERV tasks
1、Log in
In addition to logging in with Web3 wallets such as Metamask and Rainbow, you can also choose Web2 login options like X or Google accounts. After selecting one, follow the steps prompted by the platform—it will help you generate an on-chain wallet through the Para identity protocol.
2、Click “faucet” in the top-right corner of the homepage to claim test coins. (If you already have test coins, you can ignore this.)
3、On the homepage, click “Generate Cyko KO IP” to choose the role you like.
4、After the role is generated, click “Collect & Mint NFT” to choose to complete the minting.
5、Share your newly minted character on the X platform.
6、Click “Bring to life on Storychain” to jump to
Storychain tasks
1、Enter
2、Click “Create New” at the top-right corner.
3、Choose a character.
You can choose a “standard character” or a “MERV character.” If you choose a “standard character,” there are two characters to choose from—select one.
If you use a MERV-generated character, users who log in with the same wallet as on the MERV platform, the character will be displayed automatically, and you can also search for your MERV character by wallet address.
4、Complete the story creation.
Name the character → select a gender → input a comic story prompt → click “Create Comic!”
If you don’t know how to write the comic story, you can use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Deepseek to help with writing.
5、Wait for the story to be generated and finish the comic creation.
