According to figures released by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and reported by our correspondent on the 27th local time, flooding in the south-eastern part of Tanzania has already caused at least 18 deaths, with another 5 people injured. Several buildings have been destroyed, and many families have been left homeless.
