Iranian Revolutionary Guard: Preparing for a “new order in the Persian Gulf”

According to Xinhua News Agency, on April 5, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard posted on social media saying that, regarding the “new order in the Persian Gulf” plan announced by Iran, the Revolutionary Guard Navy is completing operational preparations.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard also said that the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guard Navy declared that the Strait of Hormuz would never return to the state it was in before—“especially with respect to the United States and Israel.”

Trump says the evening of the 7th is the final deadline to open the Strait of Hormuz

According to CCTV, on April 5 local time, U.S. President Trump, in an interview, did not provide a timeline for ending the war with Iran. Trump said that if Iran fails to open the Strait of Hormuz before the evening of April 7, the U.S. will list Iran’s power plants as targets for strikes.

Subsequently, Trump posted a brief message on social media saying: “8:00 p.m. Tuesday (April 7) Eastern Time!” Public opinion believes this seems to be Trump once again extending the so-called “final deadline” he set for Iran.

On March 26, Trump announced that he would postpone the “destruction” actions against Iran’s energy facilities by 10 days, with the deadline moved to 20:00 U.S. Eastern Time on April 6. This is the second time he has postponed this deadline.
