Continuing to deepen our focus on the women's running market, Nike Women's Night Run Series kicks off.

News Report (Reporter Li Jing) On March 12, Nike officially announced that the 2026 After Dark Tour women’s global night running series will return. The event will cover seven cities worldwide, including Shanghai, Sydney, and Mexico City. The Shanghai stop is scheduled to begin on April 25, with a race distance of 10 kilometers.

It is understood that as early as between 2005 and 2015, Nike had already held multiple women-only running events in major cities around the world. In 2025, Nike officially launched the After Dark Tour global women’s night running series, attracting nearly 50k women participants, among whom one-third were first-time participants in a running competition. The event features pre-race warm-ups, full-course energy refueling along the route, and a post-race celebration moment honoring running, confidence, and connection with the community—everything is tailor-made for female runners.

According to the introduction, this year’s After Dark Tour Shanghai event adds even more highlights. For the first time, it offers a “sister partner” two-person registration option. Participants may invite a running companion to form a duo team with a best friend, teammate, or training partner, share the complete race experience from registration to the sprint, and unlock exclusive perks—giving more memorable significance and a stronger sense of ceremony to running together.

At the same time, Nike also released After Dark Tour night running series gear. The series features a reflective design and will go on sale on April 9. Limited-edition event merchandise is scheduled to be released on April 18.
