Eating takeout/pre-made dishes every day, frequently staying up late or streaming for long hours, for about three years, a normal person's health will enter a sub-health state. It is worth noting that sodium polyphosphate is very common in China's food industry, especially in pre-made dishes, frozen meat products, ham, meatballs, shrimp, and so on. Its main function is not "preservation," but water retention, weight gain, improving texture, and stabilizing structure. International standards specify a daily intake of 0–40mg/kg of body weight, while Chinese standards typically limit it to ≤5g/kg in related foods. Long-term consumption can increase the burden on the kidneys and pose cardiovascular risks. Combined with other factors, more and more young people are becoming patients.
