Are you familiar with ionet_official? It's a project that allows you to rent out your computing power via GPU clusters—based on Solana, Filecoin, and Render Network. Valued at $300 million but inaccessible to us ordinary folks.
So I dug deeper to find interesting alternatives and discovered clore_ai. The concept is similar: a POW platform where you can rent out your GPU computing power. Currently, over 5,500 GPUs are connected to the network. The team operates from Europe with declared legal compliance, although info about the team remains vague and the Discord community seems abandoned. On Telegram, there are about 4,000 users, with 400 active online.
Specifically, NVIDIA GPU owners connect their hardware and receive CLORE tokens as rewards. Those who need computing power can rent it for AI, video rendering, VPNs, or crypto mining. When there’s no demand, the network searches for the most profitable crypto to mine at the moment.
The CLORE token uses the kawpow algorithm ( like Ravencoin, resistant to ASICs ). No pre-mine or ICO. Distribution: 50% to miners, 40% to compute power providers, 10% to the team. Total supply of 1.3 billion, current circulation around 632 million. The market cap is approximately $1.37 million.
What attracts me is the dual narrative of POW + AI. The GPU platform is well thought out, the business model is solid, and the deliveries have followed the roadmaps. But honestly, the fundamentals of the team and funding remain opaque. The market cap is low compared to competitors, so there’s potential.
I missed ionet_official due to lack of time, hence my search for clore_ai. I’m optimistic about 10% on this sector of computing power rental. If you have other interesting projects in this space, share your finds!
