China-Pakistan "Ocean Guardian-4" joint exercise concludes
Participating in the China-Pakistan “Maritime Guardian-4” joint exercise, the Chinese Navy’s Daqing and Pakistan Navy vessels separated on April 1 in the northern Arabian Sea waters, and the China-Pakistan “Maritime Guardian-4” joint exercise concluded. The joint exercise opened on March 25, with two phases: port-and-shore exchanges and live exercises with personnel at sea. During the port-and-shore phase, held at Karachi Port, personnel from both sides carried out activities such as mutual vessel visits and professional technical discussions. After the exercise moved to the maritime phase, both sides conducted drills around missions such as formation maneuvering, helicopter mutual landings, and joint patrols. During the joint exercise, both sides’ vessels took turns serving as the command ship, and they also sent observers to board each other’s ships to observe the organization and execution of the drills, further testing and improving the joint action capability of both sides’ vessel formations.
