India denies US military use of its ports for military operations against Iran

According to a report by CCTV News, on the 4th, India’s Ministry of External Affairs denied claims by the United States that Indian ports were used in U.S. military actions against Iran, calling it “unfounded false news.” Previously, a retired U.S. officer claimed in a media interview that the U.S. military used Indian ports to carry out military operations. The U.S. Secretary of Defense said that on the 3rd, the U.S. military sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean. In response, Iran’s Foreign Minister said that the attacked “Dena” escort vessel was an Indian guest ship; at the time of the incident, it was in international waters, and he criticized the U.S. actions.
