Goldman Sachs Asset Management released its 15th annual global insurance survey report, “Adaptation in Action,” titled “Adaptation in Action: Investment Practices in Practice.” The survey results highlight the continued interest of global insurance institutions in artificial intelligence (AI) and the private markets. Globally, most insurance institutions (56%) believe that the greatest opportunity for AI investment lies in infrastructure and data centers. The survey also shows that most insurance institutions are currently using (62%) or considering using (34%) artificial intelligence (AI). The most common AI use cases include reducing operating costs (83%), evaluating investment projects (42%), underwriting insurance risk (38%), and marketing or customer expansion (33%).
