I've been watching how the market has moved over the past few months, and the truth is that the most volatile cryptocurrencies continue to surprise us. Recently, I reviewed some numbers, and it's interesting to note how some projects move much more than others.
What caught my attention is that Monero remains one of the most volatile cryptocurrencies — it increased quite a bit in the last year, around 57.93%. Bitcoin is still Bitcoin, with its characteristic volatility, although lately it has been more stable around $67,000. But what's interesting is that XRP has decreased significantly, dropping about 36% over the year.
Regarding Solana and Ethereum, both have had interesting movements but in different directions. Solana has fallen quite a bit (31% approximately), while Ethereum has regained some ground with a 13% gain. It's rare to see this divergence considering they usually move together.
All of this shows that the most volatile cryptocurrencies remain unpredictable. It's not just Bitcoin — there are other projects that move even more. This means more opportunities for some, but also more risk. Always be careful and don't invest more than you can afford to lose. Volatility in crypto is part of the game, but that doesn't mean you have to expose yourself to everything.
