The Iran-U.S. ceasefire negotiations have hit a deadlock, and U.S. stock markets are closed while coin prices are moving sideways! 4.4 Big Cake & Ether Thought
Qatar refused to act as the key intermediary in a potential Iran-U.S. ceasefire agreement, making efforts to find a way out of the talks more complicated. Sources said that last week, Qatar had told U.S. officials that it has no intention of playing a key role in mediation or leading related efforts. Earlier on Friday, mediators said that the latest round of regional efforts led by Pakistan to bring about an Iran-U.S. ceasefire has also stalled. The mediators said that Iran has officially informed them that, in the coming days, it does not want to meet with U.S. officials in Islamabad, and that the United States’ demands are unacceptable. The mediators also said that Turkey and Egypt are still working to find a solution, and are considering new meeting locations, including Qatar’s capital, Doha, or Istanbul, while also considering new proposals to break the deadlock. In addition, according to Iranian media Fars News, sources said Iran has rejected the U.S.-proposed 48-hour ceasefire.
Because U.S. stock markets are closed and coin prices basically haven’t moved, the trading idea for Big Cake & Ether given yesterday—4.4 Big Cake & Ether Thought—can be entered to take a super short-term spike. On the daily chart, Big Cake & Ether closed with a doji star this morning. Seeing a doji star formed during a downtrend clearly signals bullishness, but the Middle East situation is weighing on coin prices, and with U.S. markets closed plus the weekend, you can only pull back to set up orders and wait!
4.4 Long Position Thought
Buy Big Cake on a retracement of 65,800-66,300, defend around 64,800. Targets are around 67,000-67,500-68,000. If it breaks through, look for around 68,500-69,000-69,300, and continue to move the stop-loss to lock in profit as conditions allow!
Buy Ethereum on a retracement of 2,010-2,040, defend around 1,970. Targets are around 2,070-2,100. If it breaks through, look for around 2,130-2,170, and continue to move the stop-loss to lock in profit as conditions allow!
4.4 Short Position Thought
Short Big Cake on a rebound of 68,500-69,000 (one lot), defend around 69,500. Targets are around 67,500-67,000-66,500. If it breaks through, look for around 66,000-65,500.
Short Ethereum on a rebound of 2,130-2,160, defend around 2,195. Targets are around 2,080-2,060-2,040.
If it retraces, take one more long. It’s a bit difficult to short when the weekend rebounds reach the short-entry zone. Even though the technicals look bullish, and both U.S. non-farm and big/non-farm data are favorable for U.S. stocks, you can still try setting a trap and see if there’s a chance to hold for a long-term move!#三月非农数据来袭
